FenderWedge Prep is a plastic wedge with an inbuilt steel plate specially designed for larger preparations such as crowns, veneers and inlays. The thin, "boat-shaped" wedge tip can be inserted into tight proximal spaces and compresses the gingiva without damage. The steel plate is perforated allowing it to be bent before insertion to lean against the adjacent tooth. It is suggested to secure FenderWedge Prep with waxed floss.
